Is The Economy In A Recession Already?

With the latest meltdown in our economy, experts are beginning to forecast a recession in the near future. The stock market is suffering and global economies are becoming weary in regard to the US economic picture. There is also a growing trend in the credit markets that show signs of a real issue.

economy.jpgProbably the single most important issue within our economy is foreclosures in the sub-prime lending arena. We are on track to shatter all the records for most foreclosures in our nation's history. People are loosing homes at an enormous rate and the government may have to step in to do damage control. The Fed has already drastically cuts rates to stop the bleeding, but it may be a little to late.

Question:

The experts are suggesting that a recession is on the horizon. But the burning question is whether or not we are already in a recession? What do you think? Please leave comments and/or suggestions.
