Real Tree vs. Fake Tree (Xmas ?)

Dilemma:

Do I get a real tree or a fake tree?

Problem:

The real tree is a tradition in my family. Over the years, they have become more and more expensive. I am thinking about buying a fake tree this year because of this. I figure I will save money in the future because a fake tree lasts many years versus a real tree that is only seasonal. Also, a fake tree is easier and faster to setup and take down because you can buy them pre-lit with lights, etc.

Question?

Should I keep tradition going or adopt a new one? Please tell me what you think.
